How to use:
In addition to learning to recognize and read science terms fluently, the backs of the cards share a detailed definition alongside the plain words.
Study the fronts of the cards together, paying close attention to the images that will help the words go into visual memory for great recall.
Next, share the definition from the back, tying the word to related words in this set of cards wherever possible. For example, when teaching herbivore, connect the word with omnivore and carnivore. When teaching predator, teach prey. Producer, consumer, decomposer all go together. Teaching words in related groups will deepen the understanding of science terms.
